I share my first hand experience on the actual travel itself, landing in Chicago, my surreal experience of America, and of course some of the highlights of the Parliament of World Religions.  
Part 2 will done with a guest who was a fellow attendee, Ms Cindy Debete next week where we focus specifically and do a debrief and share moving experiences on the event.

As we continue to honour women this month, I had the pleasure talking with the awe inspiring Silindile Lesenyane on her massive success with Sakhisizwe a property Stokvel that is taking South Africa by storm. We cover her back story, why property, money and the collective power of putting money together. Women in 2023 and much more. 
Bio 
Silindile Leseyane's name is well quoted within the property investing landscape in South Africa. Silindile was recognised as a top industry player when named SA Investor of the Year in 2019 - solidifying her mark as a trailblazer in the South African property investing arena.
Silindile is a seasoned property investor, having dabbled in varioius property strategies such as multilets, student accomodation, stokvel, and airbnb to mention a few. Having started at a young age, Silindile has a wealth of experience behind her that is often relied upon for expert advice and thought leadership.
Leveraging her years of investment experience, Silindile founded the largest property stokvel, Sakhisizwe Property Stokvel which is recognised as an industry pioneer in opening the doors of property investing to ordinary South Africans at an affordable rate.

224. The Mysteries and Impacts of The Moon

In this episode I am in conversation with Astrological Psychologist and President of the Astrological Lodge in London, Israel Ajose on the Mysteries, mythologies and the impact of the Moon. As an astute astrology Israel take us through the background of the moon in terms of its effects on planet earth and all her dwellings. He then covers the moon in astrology as whole as well as the moon in one’s personal astrological birth chart – meaning how your moon sign influences your personal life.
It is one of those very stretchy but intriguing conversations, maybe it’s not for everyone, but it certainly for those willing to stretch and expand.

Israel Ajose D.Psych.Astrol is a dedicated teacher of astrology and tarot. He studied and completed full honours in psychological astrology at the CPA in London with Liz Greene in 2011. He has undertaken further studies in traditional and medieval astrology under the likes of Robert Schmidt, Robert Zoller, Robert Hand, Demetra George. He combines traditional, mediaeval, and psychological methods. He is currently a full-time practicing consultant & teacher of astrology, tarot for more than 16 years, alongside various philosophical and esoteric disciplines. He is the current President of the astrological lodge of London. Much of his studies and practices also include cosmology, mythology, occult sciences, Kabbalah, shamanism, and divination.

221.The Plight of Black Boys

In this episode, my guest Vuyisile Mshudulu gives what I refer to a as a lecture on a topic that quite frankly I feel we are avoiding as a black people of my generation in general. We unfortunately do not have such luxury because whether or not you have a son, the challenges that black boys and black young men are facing today, will if it does not already impact you directly or indirectly. 
We are losing these boys and young men to drugs, alcohol, violence, crime, despair, unemployment, lethargy and depression. Yes. of cause it is not all of them, but enough to cause alarm - enough have these kinds of conversations regularly
In today's episode, Vuyisile takes us back to the root of it all. He covers amongst other things:
Slavery, Colonization, Imperialism, Patriarchy, black families and much more.

Mwalimu is a visionary, writer, black power activist and cultural activist, who was born in the township of Ga-Kgosi Galeshewe.
From his teenage years, Mshudulu helped found and served in various community organisations. These are groups like Ubuntu Cultural group and the Galeshewe Cultural Organisation (GCO).He currently serves as the chairperson of the Black Power Front (BPF), and is a co founder and resident anchor of the online Afrocentric channel, Mutapa.
