Sunday Jul 18, 2021
Sunday Jul 18, 2021
Coaching has been an accepted form of self improvement, self empowerment, personal growth and healing since the late 90s. Yet there are still a lot more people who do not understand its importance in their lives. Having coached for over eight years, and also having been coached myself by different coaches for different aspects of my life - I know for a fact that I would not be where I am right now nor can do the things I am able to do in my life.
It is for this reason I invited two brilliant coaches, Bulelwa and Makhotso to have a conversation on coaching. In the conversation we cover a spectrum of topics around coaching from why is it scary for people, the benefits of coaching, different coaching niches, the fees of coaching, the pet peeves of coaches and a lot more. The conversation is meant to demystify this because helpful and priceless practice of coaching. If you have been apprehensive about coaching. I trust this conversation will shed some light and you will take the plunge to go for it, because trust me, you can only gain from it.

#175 - Marriage: The Institution: A conversation with Felicia Buthelezi
Sunday Jul 04, 2021
Sunday Jul 04, 2021
Marriage as an institution has become one of those polirizing topics, I have openly expressed my disinterest in the institution before - while I no longer have strong emotions against marriage, I still don't have a strong inclination to get married. I have however reached a stage where I do see the sanctity and the beauty of Marriage.
Felicia Buthelezi, affectionately know as 'Mrs B' by her endearing audience, is probably one of the best, if not the best person to have a conversation on marriage with.
In the conversation we cover a variety of themes around marriage including the reality of the patriarchal system, whether or not marriage serves men better than women. We cover the power of choice for women even in the patriarchal system and the victim mentality that we unconsciously fall into as women. The conversation is meant to be about marriage but it is about a lot more than that.

This audacious title of today's episode is based on an incredible book by Kagaso Msimango of the same title. I read this book twice and it felt like two different books. #171 - Sex And Sexuality with Casey Blake
Sunday May 30, 2021
Sunday May 30, 2021
Sex and Sexuality has intrigued us humans since the beginning of time, which is interesting because we still do not have straight forward conversations about it. We either over inflate sex when we talk about it or we don't talk about it at all, it does not make it to a normal conversation. It is for that reason I invited Casey Blake a Sex Counsellor and Educator to unpack some of the questions I have always had about Sex and Sexuality.
The conversation is uncomfortable, vulnerable, political and very stretchy but it is all worth it.

#170 - INTROSPECTION AND REFLECTION (10 Year Reflections)
Sunday May 23, 2021
Sunday May 23, 2021
We are back after a short and necessary recess of the podcast. Recesses are crucial to growth and moving foward, they help with introspection and reflection on one's life and the journey they are on
In this episode our very own Lebo Pule is sharing her introspections and reflections on life, work, lessons, challenges, love and everything else in between. In true Lebo style this solo episode is a beautiful dance of wisdom and depth as well as moments of laughter and lightheartedness. No better way to return to regular programming of the Strech Podcast than with a heartfelt solo episode from the host herself.
