While same sex relationships and marriages are legal in South Africa and most of the Western Countries - an alarming number of people are not accepting and embracing of the union particularly in African Countries such as Uganda. Same sex marriages are still frowned upon in major social structures such as churches and the usual culture, tradition etc. I have always wanted to hear from a same sex married couple of how it’s like to live in a society that does not deem them ‘normal’
In the conversation they open up about 'coming out' to their families, how they navigate in society, how they met, their marriage, some of the myths about same sex relationships and much more.
