In this episode I am in conversation with brand new author Dr. Tshepiso Madihlaba on her debut book Maserati - A love worth finding. The conversation takes a form of a mini book club conversation, it is broad, analytical, vulnerable and funny. We begin the conversation with how she began the writing process, why she chose to write a romantic novel, we then cover how she approached the book and how she included a the important aspect of healing in her main character Maserati.
It is a treat of a conversation. The book is available on Kindle and Amazon
Bio and Contacts
Dr. Tshepiso Madihlaba, born and raised in Limpopo, South Africa, embarked on a medical journey with a passion for people, healing and a commitment to making a difference. She attained her medical degree at the University of Cape Town, following which she saw first-hand what it meant to serve people through her 6-year experience in the public healthcare sector.
Driven by her desire to make a global impact, she relocated to Chicago, US, where she works as a Medical Executive in the pharmaceutical industry, with over 10 years of invaluable Medical Affairs experience at Country, Regional and Global levels.
In addition, Tshepiso has now fully embraced a passion she’s had since childhood - Writing! And has now officially added “Author” to her resume. Earlier this year, she debuted her first novel - MASERATI: A Love Worth Finding - an engaging read for a contemporary audience. MASERATI explores the universal themes of love, heartbreak and serendipitous second chances with wit, humour, and grace. A story that has deeply resonated with readers, young and old!
She is currently writing her second novel, tapping into her dual perspective - her South African roots and American reality - to weave a narrative of people navigating the impact of unhealed childhood traumas, and the audacious courage to live with joy and love. Beyond her professional achievements, Tshepiso is a soccer mom to a tween daughter and teenaged son. In her spare time, she enjoys the art of “chilling” and watching documentaries, reading, writing, and traveling.
